Blessings of a Second Chance
It's never a great sign when you wake up and smell smoke. It's even less of a great sign when you can't remember the night before. As you open your eyes, you find yourself in a battlefield - or what was once one. The trees glow with fading embers, and the smoke you smell is growing fainter by the second as the breeze carries it on to darker stories. For a brief moment you're blinded by the sun filtering between the rocky ruins of the building you're lying in. As you further awaken from what feels like a week’s long slumber, you find others surrounding you in similar states of confusion. It becomes apparent that all of you were on the same side of this, as you all bear the same colors of red and black in your gear and armor. Though what this is, you don't quite know. You can't remember each other's names or how you got here, but you know that whatever happened before connects you all in twisted and dark series of events. Blessings of a Second Chance is a Dark High Fantasy campaign where you can't remember the past four years and how you ended up left for dead on a battlefield. With these strangely familiar faces, a single shared memory, and your tools that you have to relearn to use, it's up to all of you to find out what happened. However, the further you go, the more you may begin to ask if it's even worth knowing who you and your party were before... or if this second chance before you better to take.
