Falling Skies (D&D Campaign)
Fate is a funny thing sometimes. Whether or not you believe in it, no adventurer can fully deny that there’s something in the universe that brings a party together. It binds and ties them in one mysterious way or another. Even the darkest warlocks and the bravest paladins can end up unlikely friends after a series of strange events together. This adventure, this world, is no different.
In a strange twist of fate, luck, or whatever you believe in, you find yourself in a small crossroads village that has never had an issue in its long history of existence. It’s a passthrough place on to bigger adventures after all. But, it’s not long before a streak of screaming light and glittering metal crashes into a nearby farm and you can’t help but feel as if that’s the call to adventure you’re looking for, or, perhaps you’re just aiming to be a good samaritan and want to investigate. The locals would surely appreciate the help.
In this campaign, you and your party happen upon a mysterious crashed ship unlike anything you’ve ever seen before and the locals don’t seem to know what to make of it either. As you and your party investigate, it becomes increasingly clear that it’s not happenstance it's ended up here and if you’re going to succeed in your quest, then you’ll have to reach for the very stars the ship fell from.
