Subscription Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: November 9th 2023
By subscribing to the Huzzah! Games LLLP Adventurer's League, you agree to this monthly charge starting the day payment is processed and a recurring charge on the same date each month. In addition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Respect for the Game Master (GM) and Other Players
a. During gameplay, avoid correcting the GM's rulings or decisions. Any concerns regarding rules should be discussed post-session in a respectful manner.
b. Refrain from instructing other players on how to play their characters or talking over other players when possible.
c. No surprise player-versus-player actions; not every player wants to fight much less fight another player’s character. This includes stealing items from another player character.
2. Respect for Venue, Online Platforms, and Meetup Spaces
a. Rules for our select venues, meetup spaces, and in-person events will vary from location to location; violating rules at brick and mortar locations could result in expulsion from the venue or being banned from future Huzzah! Games® events.
b. Do not post NSFW content. This includes links, attachments, photos or videos (i.e. nudity, sexual themes, pornography, lewd material, etc.).
c. Please do not spam or message players directly without their permissions. We are all ultimately strangers and comfort levels differ from person to person.
d. Our games are designed for new players, those looking for a new space to play tabletop RPGs or otherwise. Learning occurs at different rates; do not rush another player to act more quickly.
e. Please do not share other users’ personal information. We respect everyone’s right to privacy, and we want to maintain that relationship between each user.
3. Content Standards
a. Ensure that all in-game discussions and topics adhere to the PG-13 guidelines. If you feel uncomfortable, use the designated "X" to directly inform the GM.
b. Hold political discussions privately, avoiding them during the game sessions or in the game rooms.
4. Communication Etiquette
a. Allow fellow players to express their thoughts without interruption.
b. Please refrain from cursing; players’ tolerance for cursing will vary and we aim to run PG-13 level sessions at all times.
5. Punctuality and Preparedness
a. Arrive on time for scheduled sessions to ensure a seamless gaming experience. In case of anticipated lateness, communicate with the GM in advance.
b. Show patience towards fellow players and GMs, acknowledging that everyone may not possess all the necessary information. Respect their decisions and rulings.
c. Familiarize yourself with the No-Show Policy, particularly for in-person events.
6. Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Behavior
a. Strictly refrain from using racist, homophobic, or sexist language, as well as engaging in micro-aggressions, bigotry, or derogatory comments. The Huzzah! team retains the right to remove users who violate these standards.
b. Avoid directing players to roleplay characters in a manner that aligns with stereotypical gender roles.
7. Shout “Huzzah!” at any time. In fact, it is encouraged.
No-Show Policy:
A refund will not be issued for a no-show at any Huzzah! Games® event. Refunds will be issued to players that give notice directly to Huzzah! Games LLLP earlier than 24 hours of the respective event. Refunds are at the discretion the the Huzzah! Games LLLP team.
Termination of Subscription:
Huzzah! Games LLLP reserves the right to terminate a player’s subscription without notice at any time. If a player’s subscription is terminated for violating any of the terms and conditions above, Huzzah! Games LLLP reserves the right to not issue a refund and may ban the player from attending or participating in any Huzzah! Games® events, platforms, services, or communication channels.
For any inquiries or concerns regarding these terms and conditions, please contact our support team via email at info@huzzahgames.net. You may also cancel your subscription through the Huzzah! Games® website, provided the request is made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled Adventurer's League event.
